WINE BARREL STAVES
Call it fate or destiny, my incredible wood working friend had wine barrel staves to start my journey with, then ancient growth redwood vats from 1930's from a cooper's grandson out in Humboldt County, and many other reclaimed barn woods since.
His encouraging words are my daily reminder: "I know it is scary, been there, but the scary is going to push you to succeed in ways you never thought. Hungry people work hard!"
And working hard comes with lots of joy, tears, sweat and endless smiles. Always happy at the end of the day when my child tells me what a beautiful project I built!

SWEET FRIENDS AND SPECIAL OCCASIONS
When a sweet friend inspired me to look into charcuterie boards, I built one for her birthday. Another friend moved to Idaho and asked for a cutting board with an Idaho inlay. When my friends remodeled their kitchen, they needed a custom crafted cutting board over their new sink.
Then I crafted the first chess board, a few more charcuterie and several more cutting boards, and finally made my first arrangement too for a special occasion to pair with our favorite wine.
